SSC Recruitment 2024 Vacancy Details
The Staff Selection Commission has released notification for many posts. Below we have mentioned the post along with the number of vacancies provided under each post for candidates to pick and apply thoughtfully.
- SSC Multitasking Staff (MTS) – For this category candidates will be hired for Group C non gazetted, non- ministerial posts in various Ministries, departments, and offices of Government of India.

A candidate who wishes to apply for any post under the Staff Selection Commission has to fulfill certain eligibility criteria. The criteria based on educational qualifications and age limit is listed below.
Educational Qualification
Different posts under the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) required eligibility of candidates.
- SSC Multitasking Staff (MTS) : a candidate willing to apply for the post of multitasking staff must have completed 10th grade from a recognised state or Central Board.
- SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) : under the combined graduate level posts also there are multiple job rules that a candidate can apply for. These include:
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) – A bachelor’s degree from any recognised institution with minimum 60% in mathematics in class 12th is required to apply for this post.
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II : A candidate must withhold a graduate degree with economics, or statistics, or mathematics as an elective subject from a recognised institution.
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) : A candidate must withhold a bachelor’s degree with minimum 1 year of experience in research at any recognised institution.
- Remaining Posts – for the remaining posts under Combined Graduate level exam, candidates must have passed their bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.
- SSC General Duty (GD) – A candidate applying for this post must have completed 10th standard from a recognised board.
Age Criteria
As these posts require different education qualifications. They also require different age criteria that the candidates who wish to apply under different posts must satisfy.
- For SSC Multitasking Staff (MTS) – candidate supplying for the post of multitasking staff should be of minimum 18 years and must not exceed at 25 years of age.

SSC Recruitment 2024 Application Fee
